Prior to the founding of our firm in 1989, our principal, Carol McAtee, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the accounting program at the University of Toledo. She subsequently served as an auditor and tax manager with a Big 5 accounting firm.

Carol McAtee & Associates, CPAs currently have CPAs and Enrolled agents on staff. Unlike ?accountants?, our CPA?s are required to attain a 4-5 year college degree; obtain at least two years of actual accounting experience; pledge to uphold our professional standards of ethics; complete at least 40 hours of continuing accounting education every year; and pass the rigorous CPA Exam.
We participate in the Peer Review Process, instituted by the Alliance for CPA Firms. Our most recent Peer Review, complete in 2010, resulted in an ?Unqualified? rating- this is the highest possible rating that a CPA firm can attain!

Our office includes outstanding meeting facilities, easy airport access, a secure server-based internal network, high bandwidth DSL access, on-line accounting libraries, and more.
In addition to our CPA?s, we have a complete audit, tax and accounting staff available to serve our clients. We service clients worldwide, with customers on four continents.
